Diagnosis Threatens Brock Lesnar's Career

brock_lesnar01UFC's  Brock Lesnar , expressed his concern about his diagnosis of diverticulitis that he feels may threaten his wellbeing and fighting career in a sequence of interviews this week.  Diverticulitis is a general digestive disease mainly located in the large intestine.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship utilized the heavyweight conqueror’s comeback to the utmost conclusion, coordinating  Lesnar’s initial interview in nearly 2 months on ESPN's  Sportscenter Wednesday, preceded by media talks intended to present additional details. The sports newscast show phrased Lesnar a “MMA force of nature,” and provided immense exposure for the UFC. Lesnar’s description of the hardest phase of his fighting career inspired host Josh Elliot to state that Lesnar " is still the champion, so the title defense will be his. When will we see Brock Lesnar back in the ring doing just that?”

Officials of the UFC alleged that Lesnar will confront either the victor of the March 27 provisional title fight between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin or, if the winner is hurt or otherwise not capable to make a swift spin, the victor of the Feb. 20 match between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez. The UFC originally claimed the match would be in the summer, but later stated that a scheduled May 29 card in Las Vegas might mean Lesnar’s return.

Lesnar has been the leading pay-per-view draw in mixed martial arts and last years match against Frank Mir drew an estimated 1.6 million buys.

I would think and hope Mr. Lesnar seriously considers the fact that stepping into the cage with a diagnosis of a digestive disease of which symptoms include "explosive diarhea" would not be a good idea.
