Former heavyweight contender Dominick Guinn 31-6-1 (21) who was once touted as the next American heavyweight champion has had his ups and downs throughout his career, but now after making some serious changes in his life, his career is back on the upbeat, and “The Southern Disaster” is looking for a title shot.
But first, the Arkansas born heavyweight wants a crack at the current heavyweight contender Chris Arreola. And in this exclusive interview speaks out on his career, and gives his reasons to why he is once again calling out Chris Arreola, enjoy.

Well Dominick, it is always good to hear from you, what’s on your mind?
Dominick Guinn
Well I got a call and heard that Chris Arreola will be fighting again in December, so I want to put my name in the mix; I want to call Chris Arreola out. I am scheduled to fight December 12, but I want to put my out in the mix to fight Chris Arreola.

You are coming on a three fight win streak, it has been a while since you have won three in a row, what is the difference with then and now?
DG
I am focused again, I am not worried about who is doing this or who is taking what; I am really ready to fight. I know that I am going to be champion of the world soon, and my time is now.
BH
Speaking on Chris Arreola, you seen the fight against Vitali Klitschko, your thoughts?
DG
it surprised me a little bit because I thought Chris was going to do better. But everybody has a bad day and I think he had a bad day, but I will shot you how lightening strikes twice.
BH
There is a lot of fighters in the heavyweight division, why call out Chris Arreola, I mean this isn’t the first time you have called our Arreola.
DG
They had him as the next American heavyweight champion, demanding that he was the last hope for the American heavyweight fighters, and Klitschko proved that wrong. They once had me held as that a few years ago, and I have a bone to pick with Goossen, and I want to fight Chris Arreola.

What would a Chris Arreola vs. Dominick Guinn fight do for the heavyweight division?
DG
I think I am the best American heavyweight out there, and they are trying to put him and keep him as the best American heavyweight, I know once I beat him I will get my title shot. I want to beat Arreola then fight either one of the Klitschko’s after the fight. I think I can prove that I deserve a title shot after I beat Arreola.

The word is now that Kevin Johnson will be fighting Vitali Klitschko, your thoughts on that?
DG
I think it is a good fight for Klitschko, he can take a good punch and they say Johnson cannot punch, so Vitali should have a whole bunch of confidence coming into this fight because Kevin doesn’t have a chance at knocking him out.

If you could send a message out to Goossen as well as Chris Arreola, what would you say to these guys?
DG
Either get down, or stay the f*ck down! Get down with me or lay the f*ck down period, I’ll make Chris Arreola cry for real!

Anything in closing?
DG
If they do duck me again, because I don’t have enough wins under my belt, or whatever, I am not going to worry about you because I will be heavyweight champion of the world, unlike you!
