Cro Cop is staying in the UFC

It seems that Mirko Cro Cop is really going to be staying in the UFC even though a lot of people said and knew he had already signed a contract with Dream. In his last fight against Mustapha Al-Turk he inadvertently poked him in the eye and walked away with a controversial win. After that there was word that he had signed a contract with Dream to fight in Japan before he went into that fight at UFC 99. Cro Cop says himself that everything that was said in the media is just a really big misunderstanding because the UFC already gave him future fights. Last week a croation website said that Lorenzo Fertitta flew over to Cro Cops home to try to get into contact with him and offer a new deal so he can most definetly return to the UFC. The deal was reported as a deal that he could not refuse and the word out on the street is incredible, they say that Mirko Cro Cop has dropped out of a fight that has already been announced against Siala “Mighty Mo” Siliga at Dream 10 on July 20th.  The next time you see Cro Cop that will be at UFC 103 and his opponent will be Junior Dos Santos. Cro Cop said, “I just want to return to the top. I just want to prove to everyone that they were wrong.” Was it a misunderstanding? No. Did he sign the contract to fight at Dream 10? Yes. So he did do something he shouldn’t have done but he knows he made a mistake and is going to make up for it in his next fight.
