Superfights MMA and KC Concpets has announced that kick boxing legend and former K-1 Champion Rick "The Jet" Roufus who trains out of Ken Shamrock's Lion's Den in Scottsdale Arizona will fight at "A Night of Combat 11". Roufus who recently transitioned into MMA is ready to make his mark. As the main event Roufus will fight UFC Veteran "Sick Dog" Ramirez on Saturday October 11,2008 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
As stated by Superfights Skip Kelp "We are excited to have Rick Roufus in our main event", Rick's a phenomenal fighter and holds kick-boxing and boxing titles, has added ground skills to his arsenal and is ready to take it to the cage"
Roufus (4-3-0) and Ramirez (7-3-1) is well matched. Roufus recently defeated Ryan "the Hunter" Lopez of the Ultimate Fighter by TKO in round 2 at a C3 Fight event in Concho, OK. In March Ramirez competed for Hardcore Championship Fighting defeating Toronto's Rob McDonald by unanimous decision in Gatineau, QC.
