RILEY LOOKS TO KEEP ON ROLLING

Yathomes RileyOn September 30th Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing will present its second installment of VIP Boxing at the beautiful Russo's On The Bay in Howard Beach, NY. Headlining the show will be Star Boxing's heavyweight prospect, the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team Captain, "Devastatin" Devin Vargas (17-1, 7KO) taking on Terrell "Baby Bull" Nelson (8-8, 5KO).

"TERRIBLE" YATHOMAS "THE PUNISHER" RILEY
Fighting in the co-feature bout of the evening, will be Star Boxing's red hot light heavyweight, "Terrible" Yathomas "The Punisher" Riley (7-0, 5KO). Riley who is coming off two highlight real knockouts (TKO2 July 16th & KO1 August 1st) will be taking on Otgonbayer Daivii (3-2-1, 1KO). The bout is scheduled for six rounds in the light heavyweight division. Riley, who hails from Miami-Dade County, but now lives and trains out of the Bronx, was the 2006 National Golden Gloves Champion. He turned pro in February of 2008, scoring a fourth round TKO over Borngod Washington. Since then Riley's stock has been on the rise.

The southpaw Riley, a devastating puncher with knockout power in either hand, looked to be tested in his last fight when he took on Tiwon Taylor. Taylor, an experienced veteran with more then forty fights under his belt as a professional (26-15-1, 19KO), had been in with the likes of the Lou Del Valle, Elvir Muriqi, Omar Sheika, Adrian Diaconu, and Daniel Judah. In his last fight before taking on Riley, Taylor lost a close decision to world rated super middleweight contender, Joey Spina (25-1-1, 17KO). But just three minutes, and two knockdowns later, Riley had brutally stopped Taylor in the very first round.

"Yathomas keeps improving each time out," stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and founder of Star Boxing. "His last two fights were supposed to be his toughest, and he completely annihilated both opponents we put in front of him. Anytime he steps in the ring you have to make sure you don't blink, because if you do you might miss the fight. We feel that Yathomas has the style the fans want to see, and the excitement and tenacity that he brings to the sport will enable him to become a fan-favorite and king of the light heavyweight division. We expect another fantastic showing from him come September 30th."

The show will kick off at 7PM sharp with an hour long cocktail reception. Immediately following the reception, a four course elegant dinner will start being served, at which time the first bout will go on. There will be cocktail service throughout, with an open bar running for the remainder of the evenings fights.

A complete list of undercard bouts will be announced shortly. All seats will include full VIP services. Tables of ten are available for purchase for $1500 (Bronze), $2500 (Silver), and $3500 (Gold) respectively. There will be a limited amount of individual seats at select tables available, with the cost for each seat at $150, $250, and $350.
