UFC president Dana White confirmed that the UFC is working on a deal which will require contracted UFC fighters to wear a uniform from a major apparel company. The uniform includes shorts, T-shirt and a hat. This would be something all fighters would have to wear. Even the top fighters of the UFC would be required to wear the uniform.
The proposed UFC uniforms would consist of UFC-branded products and the brand of the apparel company.When asked about the possibility of uniforms White said “It's not as big as everybody makes it out to be”. White believes the UFC would be more in line professional sports leagues such as the NFL and NBA. , According to White “The guys worried about big sponsorship dollars, those are the guys that are making tons of money anyway, and they make big money on sponsorship".
