The little that was said at the conference was enough to know that the UFC and M-1 were ‘far apart’ and nowhere near a sealed deal. M-1 Global are asserting that Fedor will only contract with the UFC in a co-promotion regardless of the fact that the UFC is offering a generous $30,000,000 five-fight deal along  with concessions for M-1 and Sambo apparel. That sweet deal isn’t generous enough for the Russian-based M-1 Global promotion company that is pushing to surpass the UFC and expand their brand worldwide.
