Now with the decorated accolade, Guerrero has the opportunity for greater accomplishments in his future. In this exclusive interview conducted by Convicted Artist Magazine, Robert speaks out on his recent win as well as taking a look into the future, enjoy.

Benny Henderson Jr.
You have just been crowed the IBF super featherweight title, which makes you a three time world champion, how does it feel?

Robert Guerrero
Man, it has not sunken in yet, I am just so excited. It is amazing how far I have come; it has been like a roller coaster, up and down, a rocky road. I am pumped and excited about it.

BH
With the rocky road, the ups and downs, does it make it that much more meaningful?

RG
Oh yes. Makes you appreciate everything even more.

BH
Here you are, three titles in two separate weight classes, what do you feel that says about Robert Guerrero?

RG
It shows that I am the real deal; God has blessed me with a lot of talent. It is about putting them together and using them, basically like what my team and I always say, you have to put out what God puts into you, He has put a lot of talent in me.

BH
What are your thoughts on the fight itself?

RG
I think I fought a great fight, I think there are a lot of things that I need to work on, but overall I went out there and did my job, stuck to the game plan . I did what I had to do.

BH
How is your eye as well as your hand?

RG
My hand is a little sore, I am getting it looked at, it is a bit swollen, we are going to get that checked out and see what is wrong with that. The eye, it looks real good, the plastic surgeon did a real good job in stitching it up.

BH
What does your family say about this, I know they have to be extremely excited.

RG
Everybody is excited, the fans, family and everybody around, they cannot believe it.

BH
The win opens up a lot of new doors for you, so if any door can open for any fight, which one would that be?

RG
I can get the Pacquiao fight, I would love the Pacquiao fight. At `30-pounds if I could unify titles I would like to unify.

BH
You said that you have some improvements to make, which improvements would that be?

RG
I am going to work on my jab a little more, circling both ways, foot work, there is always room for improvement. If you want to be on the top you have to always look for something to improve on.

BH
What message would you like to send out to the fight world regarding Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero?

RG
God is great, and He blessed me with a lot of talent. What is God’s will is His will; you have to follow His path no matter where it leads you. Like I said earlier in the interview, it has been a long rocky road, but it always seems to level out and stabilize when you get everything into God’s hands, it is amazing. Like I said, you have to put out what God put into you, and that is what I am doing.

BH
Anything in closing?

RG
I am a three time world champion now and I thank God, there are a lot of big fights out there for me, so I am excited and to all the fans keep watching me because God has blessed me and I cannot wait to shine.
