“What can you say, Gatti was the poster child for the boxer with the biggest heart, and all the fans loved him. He always handled adversity in the ring with guts and glory. What a fantastic fighter he was.”
Former Lightweight Contender & World renowned trainer
“Ice” John Scully
"I only met Arturo on two occasions. Once when he was a very young pro, still unknown. And again after he retired. Both times I found him to be the same. Pleasant, friendly, approachable. As a boxer I must say this. He will forever be a guy I will use when motivating my fighters in times of duress. Like Pazienza, Holyfield and Hagler before him, I will find myself telling a fighter between rounds, Arturo Gatti went through all that he went through all those times but you can't even find it in yourself to suck it up for another three rounds of a tough fight???"
