Warren Heard of Los Angeles, was influenced to pursue his flair in art by a close family friend named Ghort Ellis. Mr. Ellis helped guide Warren in a very volatile early Vietnam era. Warren grew up in California’s 1960 surf culture and graduated from Venice High School in 1968. Warren then continued his education by enrolling at the Kansas City Art Institute and was taught by1950s abstract expressionist Jim Wilson.
