Sheila - The people for Obama

George w. Bush left the country in a nightmare by the time he finally left office. He took a healthy economy with a budget surplus, a country which enjoyed the respect of most other nations and existed in peace, and where our constitutionally guarenteed civil rights were respected and even taken for granted. President Bush chose to destroy the economy by removing the regulations which had prevented a depression for over sixty years, he gave money to his rich friends while stealing government aid from the poor, he spent our military arsenal and the blood of our best and brightestest young and women in a war based entirely on lies, and issued executive orders and pushing through emergency legislation which robbed the civil rights and liberties of us all. As the consequences of this malfeance have played out, it's easy to blame President Obama for the fact that fixing this mess is going to be a long, rough, road. Racists and selfish citizens calling themselves the tea party have exercised the worst sort of unAmericanism by actively trying to make sure President Obama's policies fail, so they can shift the blame from the Good Ole Boy George W. to that evil liberal and did-you-notice-he's-not-white? embodiment of America's hope that is Barak Obama. Don't be fooled by their racist tactics and their desire to return to the failed policies of the past. Barak Obama is a hero and a fine American. I'm as proud to call him my president today as I was when I represented him as a delegate at the Texas State Democratic Convention.

Please don't be taken in by the elitist, classist and racist rhetoric of Newt Gingrich. He would spell the doom of any hope for the non-super rich of this country.
